We can start from a hand drawn sketch of the envisioned part and walk our customer through the entire design process. From part ideation to design engineering, to mold quoting and purchase, to receiving tooling and seasoning the tool(s) to First Article Inspection (FAI) produced parts meeting your specifications in preparation to move into full scale production. We work with the customer to develop 3D printed parts, full size or scaled depending on the application and also offer full scale solid model parts depending on the application.

The First Article Process (FAI), results from tooling received in-house and producing parts that verify wall thickness and conformance to the customer print. FAI parts are produced in the final color and packaged according to the customer request. Our customers review the parts and sign off in alignment prior to starting full scale production.

Yes, Top Notch Molding team have the skill sets and capacity to run large scale production parts and can advise on the number of tools/fixtures to meet our customers volume requirements. We also offer 3PL shipping services on individual parts shipped directly to customers, LTL up to full truckloads to our customers destination of choice.

Top Notch offers a rapid onboarding process for tooling transfers and assists in planning the transition from the current location, crating of tooling, acquiring outstanding BOM parts, tooling inspection upon arrival, notifying customers of any concerns, changing mounting plates if required, placing tooling into production as a priority to quickly provide FAI parts for approval, before moving into production.

Top Notch makes every effort to provide a 3 week leadtime for customer orders who we have already produced parts for and have flexibility if our customer requires a specifc target date for finished parts.

Yes, Top Notch Molding offers warehousing for finished goods and work with each customer case separately to assure alignment. We can retain specific levels of safety stock or Kanban inventory covered by purchase orders and work with each customer case separately to assure alignment.
